Overview

The 7th Symposium on Damage Mechanics of Materials and Structures (SDMMS 2023) was an academic conference held from September 19–20th, 2023 in Bangi, Selangor, Malaysia. Organized by the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), it focused on advanced research in structural integrity and material failure. The symposium covered topics such as fatigue damage, life prediction techniques, dynamic fracture, non-destructive testing (NDT), seismic design, and structural health monitoring.
