The Annual on Damage Mechanics of Materials and Structures Conference

SDMMS has always attracted high-quality research papers and continues to serve as a central hub where the world's knowledge on manufacturing research is fused with industry strategy in a globalised market. Past events that were held in UKM (2016, 2017, 2019, 2023 & 2025), UTM (2018), UiTM Penang (2021) and UMPSA (2022) were highly successful (Details in Past Conferences Button). In this coming 2026, the Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia is glad to organise The 9ᵗʰ International Symposium on Damage Mechanics of Materials and Structures (SDMMS2026), which take place on 24–25ᵗʰ June 2026 at Le Meridien, Putrajaya, Malaysia. The conference will provide a venue for researchers and practitioners in the related fields from academia and industry to meet in a forum where the latest research results are presented and prospects for future developments are discussed in the field of Civil and Mechanical Engineering. The SDMMS2026 Organising Committee cordially invites submissions of high-quality research papers reporting original unpublished works. We highly appreciate your kind support in disseminating this Call for Papers to your colleagues and researchers. ALL Full-length papers that have been peer-reviewed and accepted will be published in SCOPUS journals.

Conference Starts in:
